Dr. Lim Tzyy Huei – Skin Specialist in Batu Pahat
Dr. Lim Tzyy Huei is the first dermatologist providing specialist care at Pantai Hospital Batu Pahat, bringing years of clinical experience and advanced training in dermatology. He developed a strong interest in skin health during his university years and has since built extensive expertise through work in dermatology clinics across Kuching, Miri, Bintulu, Sibu, and Kuala Lumpur. Dr. Lim also served as a medical lecturer at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS).

Since 2020, Dr. Lim has been actively involved in clinical dermatology research, focusing on complex skin conditions. He has published multiple articles in medical journals and frequently speaks at dermatology conferences, sharing expert insights and advancing skin care knowledge. As a peer reviewer for the Malaysian Family Physician Journal, he contributes to the growth of community dermatology.

Dr. Lim specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of acne, eczema, psoriasis, skin allergies, fungal infections, and other skin diseases. His research includes pustular psoriasis, chronic urticaria, and hidradenitis suppurativa. In 2024, he was recognized by CRCSGH as one of the Top 5 Clinical Investigators in Sarawak.

Dr Lim is also passionate about aesthetic procedures, particularly laser treatments for acne scars and pigmentation. Dr Lim is the first dermatologist in Pantai Batu Pahat with a Letter of Credentialing and Privileging (LCP) under the Ministry of Health (MOH) Malaysia for Aesthetic Medical Practice to perform laser procedures, chemical peels, botulinum toxin (Botox) injections, and skin booster treatments.

His exceptional service has earned him the Anugerah Perkhidmatan Cemerlang (Excellent Service Award) from the Ministry of Health Malaysia, as well as the International Society of Dermatology Global Education Award. Dr. Lim is an active member of the Malaysian Dermatological Society, Asian Society of Dermatopathology, and the Malaysian Medical Association.

Today, with gratitude and commitment, Dr. Lim has returned to Batu Pahat to provide specialized skin care services to the local community and surrounding areas at Pantai Hospital Batu Pahat.
