Originally from Batu Pahat, Dr Lim returned to his hometown in 2024 after years of specialist training and service across Johor, Kuala Lumpur and Sarawak.
Today, he provides dermatology care for children and adults at Pantai Hospital Batu Pahat.
About Dr Lim
Dr Lim Tzyy Huei is a Malaysian dermatologist and skin specialist with experience in medical dermatology, dermatopathology, procedural dermatology, and aesthetic dermatology. He provides dermatological care for children, adolescents, and adults from Batu Pahat, Johor, and surrounding regions.
Originally from Batu Pahat, Dr Lim left his hometown in 2005 to pursue higher medical education and specialist training. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from I.M. Sechenov First Moscow State Medical University before becoming a Member of the Royal Colleges of Physicians (MRCP, United Kingdom). He later completed advanced dermatology training through Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), where he obtained an Advanced Master in Dermatology (AdvM), alongside a Postgraduate Diploma in Practical Dermatology from Cardiff University. Dr Lim also has a special interest in dermatopathology and has undergone additional dermatopathology training at Mackay Memorial Hospital, Taipei, involving clinicopathological discussions and dermatopathology slide review sessions.
Throughout his medical career, Dr Lim has served in multiple government hospitals across Johor, Kuala Lumpur, and Sarawak, where he gained broad clinical experience in managing a wide range of skin, hair, and nail conditions. In June 2024, he returned to his hometown of Batu Pahat to begin providing dermatology services for the local community.
His clinical interests include eczema, psoriasis, acne, skin infections, hair loss, pigmentary disorders, autoimmune skin diseases, skin cancer screening, dermatopathology, and aesthetic dermatology.
